MEB is one of Melbourne’s most renowned bagel chains. I recently tried their Nov menu featuring the Salami Bagel.
The bagel had a firmer texture and was dry, lacking the chewy consistency I prefer. While the fillings and dressing were decent, the overall taste felt somewhat disappointing. There are other bagel shops in Melbourne/Oz that offer better options.

All around amazing! Lovely staff too! Oh and I liked how they had shaded seating area too.
We had the 0. brekky and 10. Brisket pastrami bagels.

As the name suggests, they served sandwiches in Bagel. There are different bagel variants and stuffings to choose from.
We visited here on a Sunday morning and it wasn't too crowded. We tried the following items from their numbered menu - #2 which had pickled jalapenos and cream cheese; #4 which had Avocado, chive cream cheese, tomato, pink sauce and chilli oil; #9 which has Chicken salad, avocado, bbq sauce, tomato, onion, rocket and tasty cheese; and #12 which was cream cheese and raspberry jam. We also had a supermate soda which was a variant of tea with fizz.
You need to place your order at the counter, and collect your token. Once the order is prepared, your name will be called.
Coming to the taste, it was really good indeed though I found the bagels to be a bit hard. They would cut the bagel at the centre making it easy to eat. The bagels are wrapped, making it easy to takeaway as well.
There's some space to eat while being seated. Overall a good experience and would recommend it to someone who wants to try something different in bagels.

Finally tried the most popular bagel spot in Melbourne, and it did not disappoint. We went on a weekday and luckily got to try their monthly special 😍
They’ve got so many combo options and you can even choose your preferred bagel to pair with your filling. Plus, they have $4 coffee before 9 AM—what a win 😌
Tuna Melt 🥯 ($17)
April’s special came with tuna salad, pickles, jalapeños, melted cheese, and butter. We picked the everything bagel and it was chef’s kiss. Slightly spicy with a generous amount of tuna, loved the texture too. Definitely worth trying 😍
Can’t wait to see what their May special is and try more flavours 🤩

I have just had a $4 coffee from this place and it was beautiful! Come before 9am to get the discounted coffee. The bagels are very good also. There are vegan filling options, however, I'm not sure whether you can get a vegan bagel...(that would be great if possible).
