We had our anniversary here, the food and the waiting service was pretty good. However, when we came up to pay at the counter, the lady kept asking for tips. What a shame, as there is no tipping culture in Australia. If you provide very good, we will tip you. Just don’t be pushy.

We went to Shark Fin Restaurant for dinner on Saturday night with a very last-minute booking, and the young woman at the front was kind enough to squeeze us in, which we really appreciated. From that moment on, the service was absolutely outstanding.
Every staff member we interacted with was amazing — in particular, a very tall gentleman, another gentleman with green hair, and a lovely lady with shorter hair who took the time to recommend some dishes we hadn’t tried before. Her suggestions were spot on and we absolutely loved them.
A special mention to the gentleman with the green hair, who truly went above and beyond with both his service and his personality. He made the experience even more enjoyable.
The food was so good that I came back the very next day to get a takeaway of a dish I was craving — and once again, the flavour and quality were absolutely fantastic.
Exceptional service, incredible food, and a restaurant that clearly cares about its customers. We’ll definitely be back.

We visited this restaurant for a wedding lunch. The food was okay but the portions were quite small. Communication with the staff wasn’t always easy, and the place could use some renovation to freshen it up. Overall, an average experience.

Dinner:
Came for dinner after sampling their yum cha and hospitable serving during lunch.
The food was in fact better than lunch. The mud crab meat was firm and the sauce was perfect. The Fried Prawns with Salted Egg Yolk was also good and they even made a dish that was not on the menu for us - Duck Salad with Jellyfish.
The steamed chicken was average but they were generous with the ginger sauce.
The service was good to start with but they seemed to be understaffed even though the restaurant was only half full. The service further dropped towards the end of the evening (even after I paid mid meal and left them a generous tip) where the waiters and managers were nowhere to be seen at one point and although the manager did come to talk to use at the end of the evening, it did not make up for the tea not being refilled or the table not being cleared.
Will go again as the food was good.
Yum Cha:
Weekday Yum Cha in a suburban Chinese Restaurant so wasn't really expecting a huge variety but they did have all the essentials.
The Har Gow pastry was too thick so it looked over steamed but the filling was above average. The Chicken Feet flavour was a little too sweet and the texture was just a little too soft. The Sui Mai was not up to scratch with just mince pork flavour even though there were specs of shiitake. The fried prawn in rice paper was pretty good.
The service was very good from the managers and trolley ladies who were friendly and cleared the plates often so that was a refreshing change. Given that Yum Cha chefs come and go all the time, I would give this place another chance purely because it has been around since eternity so must be doing something right.

It has been quite some time since I’ve last been here; maybe when I was a kid and even now with my recent visit, I still love the place and the food. (It’s nostalgic for me)
The trolley ladies are always so nice and welcoming; recommending there trolley. The server attending our table was also good, he always made sure to check our tea and refilled and gave us water immediately and clear our plates.
On another note; I believe their chicken feet has changed since my last visit as there used to be more meat to bone ratio, but everything else i still love.
Overall restaurant is a very typical yum cha place. It can be quite loud especially when we were about to leave and they got more tables.
