Manager on shift at 8:20am on the 3rd Dec he was so lovely made sure to greet us, told us what was in the bag, farewelled us and double folded the bag. Keep doing a great job!!

We ordered via Uber after a big week as a treat and was very glad we did. My son absolutely loved the very generous (3) hotcakes. They were great quality and tasted as good as we make at home and not too sweet.

Dear McDonald’s Team,
I have been attempting to raise a serious safety concern for over a week now. I followed the process outlined on your website and submitted detailed feedback — only to receive what appears to be a generic, dismissive response that gives me little confidence my complaint was even properly read.
During our visit, my three-year-old son became trapped behind the playground area after accessing a small door at the base of the play structure. This door, which I assume had been left open by cleaning staff, leads to the area behind the playground and should not be accessible to children. My son, being just three, understandably assumed it was part of the play area and entered—closing the door behind him and becoming trapped.
He quickly became distressed, and we immediately ran to the counter to ask for assistance. A male employee asked how he got in there, and after explaining the situation, he stated that he didn’t have a key and would have to call someone. He then walked off without offering any reassurance or assistance, leaving my child in distress and us without support.
While the employee was off making phone calls, I had no choice but to climb over the back of the play area to reach my son. I lifted him over the barrier to my mother, then climbed back out myself. Approximately ten minutes later, the staff member returned. Upon seeing that we had retrieved my son ourselves, he simply walked off again—without even asking if my son was okay.
This response was incredibly disappointing. Not only was the lack of urgency concerning, but the complete absence of compassion or responsibility from the staff member was unacceptable. My son was frightened and vulnerable, and I was left to manage the situation alone.
This incident could have ended very differently, and I urge you to review your safety protocols and staff training—especially around customer care and emergency response. I hope you will take this seriously and ensure this does not happen to another family.

Poor girl was managing most of the restaurant by herself because 3 staff did not show up. Waited a while but understandable given the circumstances
