Bought the cheesy chicken burger combo. Chicken was way too tough and had lots of firm tendons that made the Pattie inedible half way through. That being said the cheese was high quality, sauce delicious. Salt they use on chips has a slight chemical taste but it is well seasoned. The free tomato sauce packet tasted very fresh, a+ sauces here. The chilli sauce is very hot so beware if you’re weak to spice. Drink wasn’t watered down as much as other takeaway places so that’s another point in their favour. Besides the tough chicken and chemical taste in the salt, this place is very nice. They also have a great selection of music playing. I’ll have to return to try the tenders to see if that chicken is similar, whilst also trying the other options they have along with a dessert.

I placed a takeaway order on 21/11, took my order home and as I got out the car, the bag broke from the bottom. I the realised that the drinks had been placed on the bottom of my bag. I lost majority of my order, took a photo and called the restaurant straight away. I spoke with Sunil, who was so extremely unprofessional and rude. I requested a voucher or something as I had lost half of my food. Sunil asked me for my order number and he would check the cameras and call me back in 15 minutes. I waited half an hour, attempted to call him back and he had blocked my phone number. I called back on my husbands phone and asked why he had blocked my phone and if he checked the cameras. He told me the girl who packed my order had left for the night so he couldn’t ask her. To make matters worse, the food that I could salvage was so insanely dry. Honestly just go up the road to KFC, it’s not even worth the trouble.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the poor customer service and mishandling of my order at your Greensborough branch on 04 September 2025.
Around noon, I visited the store and ordered the following items:
Happiness Plate Combo
Nasi Kandar Single
50% Chicken & Chips Combo
Upon returning home to Preston, I discovered that the curry sauce for my Nasi Kandar meal was missing. As you are aware, this sauce is an essential component of the dish, and without it, the meal is incomplete and practically inedible. Plain coconut rice without curry is not something anyone would enjoy, especially after looking forward to a proper lunch.
I immediately called the store and spoke to a staff member, Nisha, who apologised for the oversight and acknowledged that the staff may have missed adding the sauce. She kindly offered me a free meal on my next visit, which I appreciated, especially given I couldn’t eat the Nasi Kandar that day.
Later in the evening, I called the store again to ask if there was any delivery option, since driving back from Preston to Greensborough for a missing item is unreasonable. This time, I spoke to a male staff member named Sunil, who not only denied the offer of a free meal, but also responded in a very dismissive and unprofessional manner. When I explained the situation again, he repeatedly said, “You can drive from Preston to buy your meal but not to get your sauce on your next visit?” a comment that felt sarcastic and extremely rude.
To make matters worse, he abruptly disconnected the call while I was still speaking. When I called back and questioned why he hung up, he claimed the line got disconnected yet made no effort to call me back or properly address my concern.
As a loyal customer and someone who values Malaysian hospitality, I found this entire experience very disappointing. Not only was my lunch ruined, but I was also spoken to rudely, dismissed, and offered no practical solution for a mistake your team clearly made. Driving back for a missing $1 curry sauce is not only impractical it’s also insulting, especially when the meal is no longer fresh or enjoyable.
This is not the kind of service I expect from a brand like Marrybrown, and certainly not what any customer deserves. I respectfully request that this matter be investigated and handled appropriately. I would appreciate a proper response, and a gesture of goodwill that recognises the inconvenience caused not just the missing item, but also the unprofessional way your staff responded.

this place is an friendly place to go with friends and family, to enjoy a meal, but I would have enjoyed the music if it was the original versions of them instead of pop covers. Front of house are lovely, and couldn't be more helpful. The sundaes are my favourite thing on the menu besides the chicken.
Family Friendly

Not sure what’s with all the weird reviews as I had a combo with 5 big juicy crunchy wings really nice fries and drink. My daughter said best chicken she’s ever had. Good prices for the size of wings and sauce you get on them. Was lots of people eating there and their food looked good too. Big nice fast food restaurant.
