Shoutout to Jude the amazing bartender! 🍸 He made me a special espresso martini using his very own recipe, and it was absolutely delicious! You could tell he was proud of it, and rightly so! Loved seeing his face light up when I ordered it. Thank you, Jude, for the passion and flavour!

The food, view and the service was great. The beef cheek is a must! Mae looked after our dining experience and she was incredibly hospitable. From start to finish she checked in re drinks, food recommendations and friendly banter. We had a great view from our table with Melbourne CBD in the distance. Keep up the great work 👍

I booked Rosana Bistro & Bar for our 18th wedding anniversary, hoping for a relaxed night out with my wife and our three kids. We arrived around 6:30 pm and were seated quickly. Orders were taken at about 6:40 pm, but it took roughly 45 minutes for the first dishes to arrive, and the full order wasn’t on the table until around 7:30 pm. (There were about 4 to 5 tables occupied, so the place was not busy) The ravioli, bolognese, pizza, cheese balls, fish, and pork belly were all good and my kids enjoyed their meals, though the servings were on the smaller side. There was a small mix-up with one of the drinks, my 15-year-old’s drink was served in a sippy cup. The waitress apologised and said she’d replace it, though it never came. (no big deal though) The real issue began when my steak arrived. I ordered medium-rare, but it came out fully cooked through and grey, which left the striploin tough and rubbery. I showed it to the supervisor, who took it back without any apology or basic acknowledgment. About 15 minutes later, the exact same piece of steak came back, this time more charred and even further from medium-rare. It was placed on the table without a single word. The waitress later came by explained there had been a misunderstanding between myself and her supervisor, which I appreciated. I said that's OK but I won't be eating it. She clearly cared and went to the kitchen probably to have a chat with the staff. Shortly after, the supervisor returned, raising his voice and lecturing me about what he claimed I had ordered and how I wanted my steak. In that moment, I felt genuinely intimidated and embarrassed, sitting there on what was supposed to be a celebratory evening with my family. The tone and attitude he used were completely unnecessary, and it drained all the joy from the night. He eventually offered a replacement steak, and I accepted, though at that point I had lost my appetite. The new steak arrived around 8:20 pm (almost two hours after we first sat down) and it had the same bitter, burnt flavour as though the grill hadn’t been cleaned. The waitress, was consistently polite and tried to help. But the supervisor’s behaviour was another story altogether. I honestly don’t believe he is suited to a customer-facing role. His manner came across less like hospitality and more like dealing with a drill sergeant. I half-expected to be barked at to “fall in line.” I almost stood up to salute him and say, sir yes sir! I was thinking of doing that I would have and it would have been funny if the situation hadn’t been so uncomfortable. For reference, dinner for two adults and three kids came to about $222, and that was without dessert and we left the place and ended up stopping at McDonald’s on the way home, which, ironically, was the part of the night that actually felt relaxed and satisfied our cravings. For obvious reasons, we won’t be returning, and I’ll be sharing our experience within my circle of friends, not to scare anyone off, but so people walk in with realistic expectations. Edit: I believe the supervisor’s name was Han, if I heard it correctly.

Beautiful view of Werribee and surrounds. The view is worth the visit up to the Holiday Inn! Food is not amazing in comparison to the many gorgeous and diverse restaurants along Watton street. I tried the Linguini Zucchini Aglio e Olio which was lacking flavour for me. Partner said the steak was okay. Lovely wedges though! Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Prices are on the high side ( mains were $28 -$42 each).

This place is stunning. Tasty food, great service, good location and amazing view. These guys have found a great balance between price and the level of comfort that suits well Werribee location and the customers who enjoy nice atmosphere, great view, mild music and tasty but yet affordable food and medium range but tasty drinks. The personnel is awesome, warm and helpful. There is nothing to fault in this place. It also in the same Holiday Inn place on 8th floor. On busy days during dinner times I would recommend booking as people seems appreciate this place and it can get busy. Highly recommend it for dates, calm celebrations, and serious conversations.
