I’ve never seen such a disrespectful manager in my entire life. The way she spoke to children and myself was unbelievable. My brother accidentally dropped a drink he started crying so I took him to the bathroom. When we came back my cousin asked for a drink which is understandable if they denied however she said ‘well we didn’t drop it did we’ to him. This was at the Albion location. Then I went to her and explained that’s not a way to speak to a child you can simply say no however she started arguing saying ‘ I didn’t do anything you’re blaming me’ and she was giving me so much attitude when I kindly explained I wasn’t saying anything disrespectful she said ‘you’re still blaming me’. When I asked to leave a review she said ‘I don’t care go leave one’ and I said why are you speaking to me like that she walked off. The whole experience the workers looked so uncomfortable and I overheard her speaking badly to the cleaners as well. I work in fast food and the way she was acting I truly believe she shouldn’t be a manager I’m in utter shock.

Was visiting melbourne from London so wanted to try a McDonald's and ended up here. I know McD is not meant to be a high end place, but would expect them to have some minimum standards which this one didn't at all. From the moment we sat down, there was a bad smell, and I realised that both bins inside were open and overflowing. Every single table was filthy with no one even bothering to clean. Then we received the food, and the experience didn't get any better. The big mac patties were thin dry slivers of something barely resemblimg meat and a far cry from the thick juicy pictures in store. If I was in the US I could have sued for false advertising. The fries were barely warm, soggy and without any salt. My coke zero was completely flat and without ice which I had to ask to be changed. My father in law had ordered a chicken with cheese which arrived with a mayo like susbtance instead of cheese. Overall a very miserable experience, and I think both the manager and owner of this location should take responsibility of the poor state this McDonald's is in. As brand owner, McDonald's would be mortified to see thier name associated with this location. Hope this review gives them something to think about and improve.

I was helped by a worker named Hope, They were extremely accommodating for my humongous distaste of pickles. They immediately came to wipe down my tables and my food came very quick. 10/10 perfect service

This was hands down one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at McDonald’s. Out of the four drinks I ordered, they forgot my Raspberry Fanta completely, and the drinks I did receive were only half filled. To make it worse, they gave us a random sauce we didn’t even order.
But the worst part? I found an orange hair with split ends in my food. Absolutely disgusting and beyond unhygienic. That alone made me sick to my stomach.
When I tried to call the store to complain, they hung up on me every single time. No apology, no attempt to fix their mistakes—just pure rudeness and zero care for customers.
This location clearly has no standards when it comes to food safety or customer service. Truly horrifying experience. I would never recommend anyone eating here.

McDonald’s Brunswick East is honestly the cleanest and prettiest McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. It’s never too busy or chaotic, which makes it a much nicer experience compared to most other locations. The only downside is the food can be a bit hit or miss—chips are often undercooked or under-seasoned, and sometimes the food comes out cold. Still, the atmosphere and cleanliness definitely make it stand out from the rest.
