Came in recently just before closing time, had a few $100 notes a $10 and a $5 in my wallet, the lighting is extremely dim in this place at night. I paid with what I thought was the $10 and $5 left with my meal and got home and realised the $10 note was still in my wallet and was missing $100. Went straight back but was closed, went in first thing in the morning and explained to the lovely young lady behind the counter what had happened she was extremely helpful and I asked her if she could check if the till was over the previous night which she did and came back and informed me that it was. Then a girl who I assume was the manager overhearing our conversation asked me what the problem was so I explained to her, and asked her if she could check the cameras as I knew exactly what time I had been there, she simply gave me a filthy look said NO contact head office (suspicious) which I proceeded to do, leaving a detailed message with my contact number. No reply. Watch your money in this store. Btw the food is overpriced garbage don’t eat here you’ll get sick

We ordered the chicken tenders and HFC and a burger that had an HFC patty. I was super excited to try the tenders because I’m coeliac and Grill’d have done a lot of marketing suggesting how delicious they’ll be. Sadly, all the chicken was burnt and super over cooked. I suppose it’s the equivalent of a Macca’s/Hungary’s ad and then the reality. Anyway, expected better.

Grill’d has been one of my long-standing favourites when it comes to burgers. There’s something about their whole “healthy burger” angle that actually feels true—the buns are always fluffy, the patties are seasoned and cooked well, and the chip + herb mayo combo is, in my opinion, iconic. The service is generally quick, and the vibe is casual but warm, making it a reliable go-to whether I’m eating in or grabbing takeaway.
That being said, there’s one consistent letdown: the tomatoes. Every single time, they’re either soggy, overripe, or taste like they’ve been sitting around a little too long. It’s disappointing because the rest of the ingredients are so fresh and well thought out. A crisp, juicy tomato would lift the whole burger, but instead it ends up making the bun soggy and throwing off the balance of textures. When you’re paying premium prices for a “better burger,” you notice these little details—and they matter.
I genuinely love Grill’d and will keep coming back, but it’s time the tomato situation got some attention. If the quality of the tomato matched the freshness of the lettuce, pickles, and bun, it would easily be a five-star experience every time.

Yes I love Grill'd, though even more when it's consistently done on point! 🤤
My burger was juicy, and well filled with fresh ingredients, how it should be 👌
The team here were certainly pleasant, and the kitchen was pumping out orders, without delay 👍

A beautiful place to chill in! This was our second visit in a row and we are in love with their food and the service. We’re really surprised when one of the serving staff came and apologised for the delay and offered us complimentary drinks 😊(we didn’t complain though and didn’t notice even about the delay) These people are so caring and friendly to their guests.
All the best guys, you are the legend!!!
