We ordered the Sichuan-styled Yuxiang Shredded pork + rice and a cold dish to share, and it was delicious! Moreover it came with either a free drink or green bean dessert so that was a bonus especially in this hot weather. Place was clean and food arrived quickly too. Will come back again. Just a tip, maybe get them to seperate the rice from the dish as the rice will be too oily at the bottom.

Tried river snail noodles for the first time at @laoliuzhou_noodle , and I was honestly surprised by how good it was. 🍜 The broth has that deep, rich flavour, a little sour, a little spicy, just the right balance. The noodles are smooth, and the toppings add great texture. It’s such a comforting and authentic bowl, especially if you’re after something different from your usual noodle fix. If you’re around the city, it’s worth checking out. Grab a seat, take your time, and enjoy a real taste of Liuzhou right here in Melbourne. #MelbourneEats #MelbourneFoodie #LaoLiuZhou #RiverSnailNoodles #ChineseCuisine #MelbourneRestaurants #NoodleLovers

Again, a typical Asian restaurant. There is no need to complain about service, as the service is to take orders and serve in as soon as they can. The noodles were excellent, with really good flavored beef tripe done just nice and tender, and 2 snails were included. The brisket slices were also soft and succulent. The cold sides were affordable and tasted great too.

The distinct smell of the famous river snail noodles. I believe the strong smell do not come from the river snail soup, but the preserved bamboo. I describe it as a first hate than love relationship. Mostly are first driven away by the “fragrance”, but soon will return for more as the sweetness of the soup is the main attraction for this famous dish. The shop not only serves both the soup and dried style of the noodles. We particular love the texture of the noodle, well cooked but yet has that “q” bounce which you don’t get else where. There are many selections of delicious side dish which compliments the noodle. Servings are large and staff are friendly. We had a complimentary hot milk flower tea which was delicious, help settle the feast we had, nice! Check out the artwork around the shop, it has also been done by a local Melbourne artist.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing spot for authentic Luosifen in Melbourne! Tried their Luosifen hotpot and it was absolutely addictive — packed with rice noodles, beef balls, tofu, veggies, and all the classic toppings. The broth is rich with real river snail meat and that signature sour bamboo flavor, with spice levels you can choose to your liking. Sides like marinated beef and pig’s trotters were all on point, and even the desserts like sesame balls were delicious. Definitely a go-to for late-night cravings — highly recommend!
