I bought a burrito here. I asked to add lettuce to it. They charged me for lettuce but forgot to add it to the burrito. I get it, shit happens, it was a busy lunch day and the place was packed. I had already waited a while for the burrito (i get it, it was busy, no dramas) and as I was already at work about to start my shift when I realised that they forgot the lettuce so I had no time to chase it up at this point. About 10 days later, today, I returned and ordered another burrito. I explained about my previous visit and the missing lettuce to which the girl at the counter told me that I'd make sure that I got lettuce this time. I thought all is well. I was about to grab my burrito today when I checked my docket and saw that I had once again been charged for lettuce. I asked this to be refunded and I was told that this couldn't be done because I didn't have my receipt from the last purchase still. For the sake of a 60c charge for lettuce being refused to be waived or refunded for me, you have now lost a customer for life, so I hope that skimping on the lettuce, which as a hospo worker myself, knows that it costs you probably 5-10c or less, was a solid business and customer service choice on your part. You effectively stole from me by taking money for lettuce and never giving it to me. Don't worry though, I found an effective solution in the end. I apologized to your staff and informed them that because they had stolen from me, that I would now steal from them, and took a drink from your front display counter...so I guess the whole situation cost you that as well. At this point the member of staff that handled the situation said nothing and just made a disappointing, sad looking face at me. I wish I had have taken a picture because that sad looking face really summed up my dining experience here. 0/10 Customer service....over some lettuce guys, really.
