Deducting one star for getting the wrong pie :(
Overall the pies were delicious. Pretty much ordered almost everything from their “pie of the month” screen…But instead of the Beef & Truffle pie, we got Beef & Cheese… still great… but wasn’t what we were after…
Ordered 6 pies in total for take away, everything was correct with the exception of the Beef & Truffle pie… and because we had it as take away, didn’t realise it was wrong until we got home.
And since we weren’t given a receipt, we don’t know if it was wrongly entered when ordering, or just given wrongly from human error.
Lobster Laksa: amazing flavour, generous with the lobster piece as well. Definite-must try!
Chilli Crab: very generous with the amount of crab meat in the pie!
Cowboy Beef: great filling, dwarfed in flavour when compared to the lobster & crab
Beef & Cheese: soft tender beef chunks, gravy was great and flavourful.
Plain Beef: This was simplicity done right. Inside filling was good and very rich in flavour.
Jalapeño beef: good amount of spice, definitely will have it again.
Would be great to be given a receipt, so that we could catch the mistake before given the wrong order.
Come for the pies, not for the service.

Lovely pie speciality restaurants down in the east, variety of pies served fresh.

Now I have to say I am Dutch and that we are country where pies are not very common. But I have eaten quite some pies here in Australia over the last 20 years....
The pies at this place are of a totally different level! Sooo good! The last one I tried was the scalop pie. This was by far the best pie In have eaten in my life until now 👌
The beef mushroom is also very delicious!
Filled with signs inside that they have been rewarded door best pie of the year... Have to agree on that one!

Have passed this place so many times, finally tried and so impressed. So many flavours to choose from, and they are unique like Asian flavours too. I was expecting normal pies but this is soooo much better, doesn’t need tomato sauce. The only thing would be nicer if they have salads to come with it to make it more a full meal. But yea will come back for sure.

Awesome pies, 2nd to none. Have tried many of their unique fillings, always fresh hot and scrumptious. Definitely worth 5 star rating for their pies. Shop itself is suited to takeaway, but has a few seats around the window.
