I ordered a veggie breakfast burrito and clearly mentioned no egg at the time of ordering. I repeated the same request again during payment. Unfortunately, the burrito I received still had scrambled egg in it.
This was disappointing, as dietary requests should be taken seriously, whether for preference, allergy, or religious reasons. I hope the team improves communication between staff to avoid this happening to other customers in the future.

Worst GYG in Australia. I would give a zero star if I could.
I rather drive to the one in Cranbourne.
I just ordered 3 mini bowls and 2 tacos, non of them are up to standard.
Tacos
The tomatoes and cheese are missing from the Tacos. They were cold, dry and tasteless.
Mini bowl
All 3 mini bowls are full of undercooked rice.
I'm trying to call back right away but no answer. I want my money back.
They completely waste the food, our money and time

Guzman y Gomez Clyde is an awesome spot for fresh, tasty Mexican food! The food is always served hot, full of flavour, and made just the way you like it. The burritos, tacos, and bowls are consistently delicious, with great portions and fresh ingredients every time.
The staff are friendly, quick, and always happy to help — service is fast even during busy times. The restaurant is clean, well-presented, and has a nice, modern vibe that makes it great for both dine-in and takeaway.
It’s easily one of the best GYG locations I’ve been to — everything from food quality to customer service is top-notch. Highly recommend for anyone craving fresh and flavourful Mexican meals. 5 stars all the way! 🌯⭐

Welcome to flavour country!
This is the second Guzman y Gomez location I've tried, and so far they've been great. The concept itself is brilliant, especially in Australia, with Mexican food generally underrepresented across our dining scene.
The menu selection is laid out cleverly, you can select from the usual favourites, and customise to your heart's content. The food is fresh and bursting with taste. The ingredients are fairly high-quality by fast food standards. In terms of pricing, at least at the moment - it's marginally more expensive than Maccas and Hungry Jack's, and give or take, on par with KFC and Red Rooster. The portions are generous, and with the quality and real food ingredients, you get a great feed, and remain satisfied for a long time.
Whilst technically being fast food, it feels more of a hybrid between that and a casual Mexican restaurant. Bright, generally clean and tidy, and friendly... My only caveat on the cleanliness, is the 'Salsa Station' (an extra condiments station within the dining area). Brilliant idea and welcome, as long of course, that your typical punter can behave themselves, and refrain from acts of slobbery. Time will tell, and management will need to remain vigilant, and keep right on top of cleanliness and hygiene.
As added bonuses - the coffee they serve is surprisingly good, and if you're hankering for a beer on a warm afternoon, they've got you covered.
Keep up the great work team! And keep dishing up those exciting Mexican flavours.

I’m done with GYG, and this is why. Ordered a brisket burrito, and waited 15 minutes in the waiting bay. For them to say there’s no brisket left and it was a 5-10 minute wait. Unless I changed my filling.
Which I didn’t really want to. So I asked if I could get the refund for it.
They said they’d check. Came back after 5 minutes and told me that they made a mistake and there is now enough and after few minutes came back with the food.
After 20 minutes I received this absolute mess. With no forks for the burrito bowl which means I had to drive back and pull over and walk in to ask for a fork. This was Monday night 14/9.
The burrito I received had 1 maybe 2 bites of brisket if I’m being generous.
The lettuce was also very slimy and disgusting.
I’ll never be back ever to this store. It’s a shame
