Great store. The vegan Sushi 🍣 is amazing! They're is also a bottle shop in here too. Plenty fresh fruits, veg and always well stocked too.

Very disappointed with the service here.
My friend and I were scanning strawberries that came up as $4.50, but the shelf price clearly showed $2.20. I went back to take a photo of the shelf price to show staff. While I was doing that, my friend stayed at the self-checkout and did not leave the store.
A male security guard repeatedly accused my friend of not paying, even though they were clearly waiting for me. This was uncomfortable and unnecessary.
When a staff member came over, she blamed it on another customer putting the item there, even though the Price Scan Policy is clearly displayed in the store. Instead of following the policy or helping properly, she kept blaming customers.
No accountability, no proper customer service, and very poor attitude.
If staff don’t understand or follow their own pricing policy, that’s not the customer’s fault.
Won’t be coming back to this store again.

Been coming here a long time but recently stopped. The male security guard is a very intrusive and violent character. The other staff are nice and helpful. The security guard has been rude to customers on quite many occasions.
Even yelling threats and chasing or rushing after people who have paid unapologetically.

Like Dr Who’s TARDIS, this store is bigger than it appears from street level. If you go down the escalator to the lower level it’s almost as large as a regular Woolies supermarket. Apart from that it’s the same as every other Metro store with a similar range of products. Conveniently located at the northern end of Melbourne’s CBD.

Woolies is the best, and this Metro version is much bigger than the one on Literature Lane, almost comparable to the QV Mall one. I was looking for something very specific, and the app showed that this store had it, and yes, my item of interest was present. The store is spread across 2 levels, so newcomers need to be aware of it. Luckily, one of the staff helped me locate the stuff I was looking for.

The store, as I mentioned earlier, is pretty huge and has a great stock of all the necessary items, something one expects from a Woolies supermarket. The lower level was quite cool, at least that's what I felt. Lots of vegetables, meat, dairy and other stuff, this store is pretty solid for most of our daily needs.
